Calendula Oil, extracted from the flowers of calendula — long regarded as a guardian herb for the skin — is combined with Herb Care Water, made with 15 carefully selected herbal extracts, including wild mountain mugwort from Hokkaido to help condition the skin, along with a calendula extract drawn primarily from the calyx of the calendula flower. The dual-layer formula replenishes moisture and oil at once, absorbing comfortably into the skin — even during the sticky heat of summer.
In summer, sweat and sebum can make skin feel oily, but beneath the surface it is often quite dry. Wiping away perspiration strips the skin of its natural oils along with moisture, which is why it matters to replenish and maintain the skin's balance of water and oil.

A generous blend of herbal extracts helps to firm and refine the skin while supporting its resilience and keeping it in a healthy, balanced condition.
If you experience a slight tingling sensation, warm the product between your palms first to allow the alcohol to dissipate before applying to the face.

Shake well to mix the two layers thoroughly. Apply two pumps to the entire face, morning and night. One bottle lasts approximately two and a half months with regular use.

Calendula — Awaji Island, Hyogo
Calendula has long been cherished as a protective herb, known for its gentle care of sensitive skin. The calendula grown by Hirota Farm on Awaji Island is cultivated without pesticides as an edible flower, and the oil extracted from it is a vivid orange — much like the petals themselves. — much like the petals themselves. At SHIRO, we use not only the beautiful petals but also the calyxes, so that nothing is wasted. Extraction method: Calendula flowers are steeped in sunflower oil to draw out the extract. The calyxes are extracted separately using ethanol.
Mugwort (Yomogi) —Aibetsu , Hokkaido
Long valued as both a food and a plant associated with everyday wellbeing, ｍugwort is rich in vitamin C and polyphenols. It is said to help care for rough skin and support the skin's ability to retain moisture. The ｍugwort used in this product grows wild in the forests of Aibetsu, Hokkaido. It is harvested from woodland managed by forestry practitioner Hiroto Fukuyama, whose work is guided by a wish to preserve the natural beauty of the forest and pass it on to future generations. The ｍugwort is cleared to help young planted trees grow — and rather than going to waste, it is put to careful use.
