A deeply moisturising, two-phase face mist made with distilled water extracted from green yuzu peel, blended with 1.5 times the essential oil of our Yuzu Oil in Water, plus yuzu juice and seed extract.
The moment you spray, the fresh, bright scent of green yuzu unfolds — its characteristically sharp, citrus-forward note releasing with each use. A fine mist settles over skin, helping it feel hydrated and, with continued use, more even and healthy in texture.
It replenishes both oil and moisture in balance, making it suitable for the face as well as hair and body — anywhere that tends to feel dry. The light, refreshing finish also makes it a welcome pick-me-up during warmer, more humid days when skin feels sticky.

Young green yuzu is known for its vivid, clean freshness — a scent that is bright and invigorating in a way that only unripe yuzu can offer.
To let that quality come through fully, we revisited the formulation again and again, adjusting the concentration of essential oil until we found the balance we were looking for: a scent that lifts, and a texture that settles easily into skin.
Made the SHIRO way
Yuzu is typically harvested once the fruit has turned yellow, but the green yuzu used here is different. These are young, unripe fruits — thinned during yellow yuzu cultivation to promote young tree growth.
Still small and green, the skin of each fruit is delicate and easily marked. Selecting and harvesting them takes time and care, and only a very small amount ever makes it to market. For a long time, much of this yuzu had nowhere to go.
We wanted to find a purpose for something rare and overlooked — to give it a new life in a product worth making.
This oil-in-water mist came from that wish. It is the kind of thing that begins with a relationship, with a grower, with a chance encounter — and that is very much the SHIRO way of making things.
Estimated usage
With 5 sprays morning and evening, each bottle lasts approximately two and a half months.
Size: 120mL
Shake well before use to combine the water and oil.
Hold approximately 20cm away from the skin, spray an appropriate amount, then gently smooth in with the palms of your hands.
Kito Yuzu — Ōgon no Mura, Naka-cho, Tokushima
As Kito Yuzu trees grow, unripe green fruits are thinned out to encourage the young tree's development. At Ōgon no Mura, the harvest window is just two weeks — just the two weeks before autumn, before the fruit starts to turn yellow. It is a rare and fleeting ingredient. The green yuzu has a lively, crisp freshness quite distinct from the ripened fruit, and is said to be rich in vitamin C and polyphenols.
