A formula realised by Hidaka Kombu
Different from Gagome Kombu, a distinctly stronger gel-like texture, Hidaka Kombu*¹ extract has a smooth texture. Moisture is absorbed*⁴ into the skin and keeps it water retained.
Based on this hydration power, we have achieved an all-in-one formula that delivers thorough moisturisation while maintaining a refreshing feel.
The formula further enhances hydration by combining rich tamanu oil*³ with an extract derived from oil-extracted Hidaka Kombu*¹.

We imagine situations where those raising children or struggling to take time for self-care might use this All-in-Serum. STORY
I realise that those who pour their wholehearted efforts into something or someone are creating a rich everyday life. For instance, mothers raising children, businesspeople dedicated to their work, and those caring for or nursing loved ones.
SHIRO has always emphasised the importance of skincare.
This stems from our desire to convey the power inherent in each ingredient and the passion of the producers who cultivate them. We wondered if SHIRO could accompany the daily lives of these people, filled with kindness and affection, lives overflowing with the rich scenery of those who dedicate their time to others.
Our encounter with Hidaka Kombu, a new ingredient for SHIRO, also became a tailwind for product development. As we engaged with the ingredient daily, our desire to share its appeal—such as its refreshing feel and excellent moisture-retaining properties—with more people grew stronger.
Thus began the development of an all-in-one product based on Hidaka Kombu. What surprised us was how well the Hidaka Kombu extract blended with Aloe and Tamanu. Because the ingredients blend naturally through their inherent properties alone, we achieved our goal of creating SHIRO's first all-in-one serum with a single-layer cream texture – gentle on the skin and free from emulsifiers.
Though it feels smooth on the skin, the moisturising feeling that follows becomes rather addictive. We would be delighted if this product could become part of the daily lives of people who genuinely pour their wholehearted effort into something or someone.
