This year marks the 15th anniversary of SHIRO's “Sakura” series, which has been renewed with a new fragrance and is now available in limited quantities. Our aim was to create a sakura scent that is more vibrant and potent than before, offering an extra boost to those striving to achieve their goals.
The top notes burst with bright citrus and fruity accords, leading into a middle note where sakura, jasmine and lily of the valley bloom magnificently. The base notes envelop the whole with gentle musk and amber, leaving a warm, lingering impression. The lineup includes an “Eau de Parfum” to wear all over, a “Hand Serum” that wraps hands in a veil of moisture, a “Body Mist” for enjoying the fragrance while hydrating skin, and a “Fragrance Diffuser” to bring spring into your room.
The containers feature a vivid pink colour that radiates energy at a glance. Furthermore, each package bears the handwritten message "SAKURA, SAKU" (Cherry Blossoms Bloom), embodying the unwavering sentiment from the very beginning. We hope this fragrance and these words will encourage everyone who picks them up, inspiring countless new "Sakura" stories to unfold.

STORY
"Sakura" was born in February 2011 in Japan, during the predecessor brand "LAUREL" era. It began as a creation for a young girl preparing for her entrance exams, imbued with the wish: "May the sakura bloom." Its gentle, delicate scent resonated perfectly with that era. The following year saw the birth of "Sakura 219", characterised by its subtly sweet fragrance. Since 2018, this scent has appeared annually as a limited edition, enduringly cherished as a fragrance offering encouragement to those embarking on new lives in spring.
However, as time passed, people's knowledge and sensitivity towards fragrance seemed to deepen. Therefore, this year, we decided to renew it into a new “Sakura” – one we feel is especially fitting for the present era. After numerous prototypes, we perfected a fresher, more vibrant scent, as if capturing the essence of cherry blossoms in full bloom.
