Four new limited-edition hair care products from ZERO COLLECTION FRAGRANCE
SHIRO continues to explore ways of making products without creating new waste.
From ZERO COLLECTION FRAGRANCE — a line born from raw materials and packaging that had been sitting in storage following renewals and discontinuations — four new items arrive in limited quantities, designed to care for hair that has been exposed to harsh UV rays and dryness from air conditioning.
The fragrances featured in this release are three in total: ZERO SAVON, ZERO WHITE LILY, and ZERO WHITE TEA. Among them, ZERO SAVON returns with a new combination of fragrance ingredients — a renewal that is only possible through a process of making the most of finite resources. As before, SAVON forms the base, layered with EARL GREY, and now joined by SAKURA 2026 and PEONY BLISS. The fresh, transparent quality of the original remains, while the overall impression becomes more vibrant. To let you fully enjoy this fragrance, a new Satin Oil — the first of its kind from SHIRO — has been created for use on both body and hair. Light as a mist, it leaves hair feeling supple and luminous with every use.
ZERO WHITE LILY builds on its previous formulation, pairing WHITE LILY as the base with JOY WITH YOU — offering a notably rich floral fragrance experience within the SHIRO range. This release includes two items: the Oil-In Hair & Body Serum and the Hair Balm. The Oil-In Hair & Body Serum incorporates the fragrances of FREESIA MIST and FOR MY WILL, a past limited-edition scent. The addition of woody notes adds depth, allowing you to enjoy a three-dimensional floral fragrance from head to toe. The Hair Balm tames frizz and conditions hair, while offering a gentle, lingering fragrance.
ZERO WHITE TEA, as before, takes WHITE TEA as its base, combining it with SAVON and the limited fragrances PEAR and FREESIA MIST. ZERO COLLECTION FRAGRANCE
ZERO COLLECTION FRAGRANCE was born from fragrance ingredients left over after renewals, and from finite materials that had fallen out of use. It all began with a closer look at what we already had.
Fragrance ingredients that had been set aside — following renewals prompted by a shift in direction from the international body governing fragrance use, among other reasons — had been sitting in storage at SHIRO's factory and at fragrance suppliers. On top of that, containers already printed with product information, and extra containers purchased to account for potential defects, had been accumulating. We had always worked to minimise surplus wherever possible, but rather than discarding what inevitably remained, we began finding ways to make use of it as a valued resource.
By working beyond SHIRO alone — bringing in others across the industry and society — we aim to take in materials that are no longer needed and give them new purpose. We believe that a future with zero waste is not something SHIRO can achieve on its own; it is something we build together. We hope you will look forward to what SHIRO creates next, and to the products made with that intention.
